Chinese Zodiac

Based on the Chinese tale of the Jade Emperor selecting his guardian animals; the legend states the first twelve animals to cross the finish line received a year on the Zodiac Wheel in honour of their feat. Through my art, I seek to unravel the intricate tapestry of the zodiac, weaving threads of myth to illuminate the deeper significance of these twelve celestial creatures. From the noble spirit of the Dragon to the cunning grace of the Snake, each animal embodies a spectrum of virtues and vices, offering profound insights into the human condition. Through my artistic exploration of the Chinese Zodiac and their lucky flowers, I invite viewers to embark on their own voyage of discovery, to ponder the cyclical nature of existence and the eternal dance between destiny and free will.
