Elemental Spirits Collage

In my five-part collage series, I embark on a visual exploration of the ancient pagan elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit. Each segment of the series serves as a gateway into the palpable manifestations of these elemental forces, intricately woven with animal representations and symbolic items closely tied to their respective domains. Made to stand alone or present all together, this piece was worked intuitively over the course of six days at residency. Individually, each collage stands as a testament to the elemental forces that shape our world and ourselves. Together, they form a tapestry of interconnectedness, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the rich symbolism and evocative imagery that speaks to the timeless truths of existence.
